BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A batch of bad gasoline affected about 25 members of the Sam's Club on Siegen Lane Friday afternoon.
Jennifer Gonzales was one them. Her brand new minivan stopped on her and had to be towed back to the dealership. Gonzales spent more than $1,000 to get her van repaired.
"They said you have a tank full of water," she said. "We were lucky enough to be able to get home, but many people couldn't even get out of the parking lot."
Dianna Gee, a media representatives for Sam's Club, said they closed the pumps and will pay for the damages.
"We would never want our members to have an experience like this, and we are working as diligently as possible to ensure those with damages have the transportation they need until vehicle repairs can be made," she said.
If you were affected contact the Sam's store directly. You will need proof of your claim.
