BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Baton Rouge Police say they have recovered the vehicle they suspect has been used in a string of robberies.

In a release from BRPD, they say that the grey Volkswagen Jetta used in Friday morning's robbery at Subway was recovered Sunday.

Police believe that the vehicle may have also been used in two other robberies over the weekend.

A grey Volkswagen Jetta was caught on surveillance video leaving the scene of a robbery at a Circle K in the 5300 block of Highland Road early Saturday morning.

The same vehicle description was given by witnesses involved in another robbery Saturday morning at the Whitney Bank in the 8700 block of Bluebonnet Boulevard.

Detectives are still investigating all three robberies and searching for the suspect.

If you have any information about any of the three cases, you are asked to call EBRSO at 225-389-5000, BRPD's Armed Robbery Division at 225-389-3845 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
