Men from Hammond, Lacombe, and Thibodaux have been arrested in separate incidents for crimes that victimized children, according to Attorney General James D. "Buddy" Caldwell.

Robert Stewart, 21, of Hammond, was arrested Thursday on 40 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles, and a single count of producing pornography involving juveniles, computer aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with a juvenile.  He was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.

If convicted, Stewart faces up to 20 years in prison for each count of pornography involving juveniles, 20 years in prison for production of pornography involving juveniles, 10 years in prison for computer aided solicitation of juveniles and seven years in prison for indecent behavior with a juvenile.

In an unrelated incident, Chad O’Farrell, 28, of Lacombe, was arrested Wednesday on five counts of distributing pornography involving juveniles, and a single count of racketeering, indecent behavior with a juvenile, and solicitation of a juvenile.  O’Farrell was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

O’Farrell was previously arrested by the Attorney General’s Office on May 14 as part of Operation Broken Heart II. At that time, he was charged with 400 counts of possessing and a single count of distributing pornography involving juveniles. This week’s additional charges result from information obtained during O’Farrell’s initial arrest.

If convicted, O’Farrell faces up to 20 years in prison for each count of pornography involving juveniles, 50 years in prison for racketeering, 10 years in prison for computer aided solicitation of juveniles and seven years in prison for indecent behavior with a juvenile.

In another separate incident, David Fournier, 60, of Thibodaux, was arrested Friday on 13 counts of possessing pornography involving juveniles. Fournier was booked into the Lafourche Parish Jail.  The arrest was a result of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit, Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, Thibodaux Police Department, Louisiana State Police and Homeland Security Investigations.  If convicted, Fournier faces up to 20 years in prison for each count of pornography involving juveniles.
