BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge man accused of striking his girlfriend and endangering her child was arrested on Wednesday.
Frank Robinson, 33, was arrested for allegedly striking his ex-girlfriend.
The victim says that Robinson offered his ex and her eight-year-old daughter a ride in his car when he saw them walking home. The woman told police that she got in the car because she did not think Robinson would harm her with her child present.
The woman said that she and Robinson got in an argument that ended after the suspect allegedly struck her in the face while the child was in the back seat. The victim says that she and her daughter were able to get out of the car and seek help from a nearby postal worker.
Responding officers noted a deep cut to the victim's nose, consistent with her testimony.
Robinson was charged with domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, and second degree battery.
