PLAQUEMINE, LA (WAFB) - A mother in Iberville Parish says her daughter's first week of school was a nightmare, because of a substitute bus driver.
Christen Grafeo says that her daughter attends MSA West Academy in Plaquemine. And since the start of school, she and other students have been bused home by a not so friendly bus driver. She said she noticed that Monday when her daughter got off the bus.
"She was full of sweat and her face was beat red and it look like she was going to pass out," said Grafeo. "She said that they couldn't roll down the windows on the bus and the driver yelled at them used foul language with the F-word."
Yesterday, Grafeo said the bus driver put her daughter off the bus at a stranger's house. Luckily, she was able to call and get picked up, but was terrified.
"She was having trouble breathing because she was crying so hard," said Grafeo.
"We put our trust in to these school bus drivers to get our children to and from school and this is not what I thought was going to happen," said a somber Grafeo.
