BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - UPDATE: The Baton Rouge Police Department have announced the arrest of Malcolm Moore on Thursday night. The original story is below.

The Baton Rouge Police Department and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for the arrest of a man who allegedly hit someone with a pipe during a robbery.

Around 10:40 a.m. on July 31, the BRPD says that Malcolm Moore, 44, attempted to rob the Family Dollar on Florida Blvd. He went to the counter with a soda and demanded money from the register as he was being checked out.

When the cashier refused, Moore allegedly hit them on the head with a pipe and left the store.
