BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The LSU football team took a break from the sweaty grind of fall camp Tuesday night to enjoy some team bonding and great food.
The Tigers gathered at the original T.J. Ribs restaurant on Acadian, which will host head coach Les Miles' first radio show of the season in roughly two weeks.
Quarterbacks Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings might be engaged in an intense battle for the starting spot, but the two spent plenty of time at the same table, eating and laughing.
Freshmen running backs and local products Derrius Guice of Catholic High and Nick Brossette are also in competition for carries, but likewise were having a great time together.
The Tigers, in particular the offensive and defensive linemen, certainly devoured their fair share of chicken and ribs.
The down time won't last for long, however, as LSU has two practices scheduled for Wednesday. The Tigers will scrimmage for the first time Saturday in Tiger Stadium.
