HOLDEN, LA (WAFB) - Livingston Parish Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man they say stabbed his father to death.
Deputies say they received a call just after 8 p.m. Saturday about a stabbing in the 23700 block of H. Samuel Road in Holden.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim's son, Brandon Ray Threeton was arrested at the scene.
According to deputies, the two men had gotten into a verbal argument due to a domestic-related incident. During the argument, the son grabbed a knife and stabbed his father.
Threeton was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center where he is charged with manslaughter.
