BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Cabins at the Fontainebleau State Park in St. Tammany Parish will be opened for the first time since 2012.
The cabins were a popular attraction for the area, but were shut down after they sustained damage from Hurricane Isaac.
About $1.5 million were put into restoration efforts for the cabins. They will be available to rent on Monday, August 17.
About a quarter of a million people visited the park annually. More information on cabin rentals can be found on www.ReserveLaStateParks.com
