Nation's top recruit for 2017 decommits from LSU

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - University Lab football star Dylan Moses decommitted from LSU on Monday.

LSU offered the 6'2, 220 pound linebacker/running back as an eighth grader and Moses committed to the Tigers two years ago.

"After talking to my parents, I've decided to decommit from LSU," Moses said via twitter. "This was a very tough decision but I think it was the right one for me."

Moses, the cousin of LSU assistant coach Corey Raymond, said his plan now is to "focus on bettering myself as a high school student athlete, perfecting my craft and helping my teammates win another CHAMPIONSHIP."

The No. 1 recruit for the 2017 class still lists LSU as his leader.
