BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office says they are cracking down on incidents involving reckless driving at parish boat launches.

The LPSO is reporting that 17-year-old Henry Brown, 20-year-old Matthew Delcambre, and a juvenile were charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle and simple criminal damage to property.

Lafourche Sheriff Craig Webre made a statement saying surveillance cameras led to the identification of the suspects, and that his office would not stand for anyone damaging public property.

“We will identify and charge each and every individual caught driving recklessly and damaging public property.”

Sheriff Webre says that reckless driving leads to costly repairs of vehicles or solar lights.
