BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The Baker Police Department arrested a man who they think was involved in a drive-by shooting in late July.

During the police investigation of a Camellia Street drive-by shooting on Saturday, July 25, detectives were able to name Brandon Parker, 24, as a suspect in the shooting. Baker Police were also able to identify Parker as a suspected heroin dealer.

Detectives conducting a search at Parker’s residence were able to find a .40 caliber pistol that was reported stolen, two digital scales, 89.5 grams of heroin and over $7,000.

On Thursday, Baker Police arrested Parker during a drug deal. Detectives seized 10.7 grams of heroin and $785.00.

Parker was booked under multiple gun and drug charges.
