BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is looking for two suspects believed to be involved in bank fraud.
Jontell Poole, 32, and Geneal Shavers, 39, are wanted after they deposited three checks worth about $1350 at the Pelican State Credit Union. Those checks were written from Poole's closed Chase Bank account, according to Baton Rouge Police.
Authorities say that Poole and Shavers immediately withdrew the funds before the credit union realized that the Chase Bank account did not have enough money to support the withdrawl.
Anyone with information about Poole and Shavers' whereabouts are urged to call the BRPD at 389-3871, or Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
