Baton Rouge woman indicted on sex trafficking charges

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A Baton Rouge woman is accused of sex trafficking crimes involving a child. 

36-year-old Kellie Dominique was indicted Wednesday for sex trafficking of a minor, attempted sex trafficking of a minor, obstruction of justice and four counts of use of an interstate facility in aid of racketeering. 

She is accused of promoting a prostitution business out of her home and other places in Baton Rouge. She allegedly used the website 'backpage.com" to post ads. 

According to the indictment, a minor allegedly worked as a prostituted for Dominique. 

The New Orleans Division of the FBI, the state's Attorney General’s Office, Louisiana State Police and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case. Assistance is also being provided by the Baton Rouge Police Department’s Narcotics Division, the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force and other law enforcement agencies.
