BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette is "in the hunt" for All-American honors, according to NFL analyst Chad Reuter.
Georgia's Nick Chubb and Oklahoma's Samaje Perine are also early favorites for the post-season honors.
Reuter calls Fournette a "super sophomore back who will make headlines this season. His special combination of power, speed, and change-of-direction ability allowed him to gain 1,034 yards and score 10 times last season."
Joining Fournette in the hunt for All-American honors are running back Ezekiel Elliott of Ohio State and Derrick Henry of Alabama.
