Search dogs help capture escaped inmate in West Feliciana Parish

WEST FELICIANA PARISH, LA (WAFB) - Officials say that an inmate escaped from a West Feliciana Parish Work Release program on Friday afternoon, but was caught with help from Angola search dogs.

West Feliciana Parish officials say Titus Huddleston escaped from his work release detail.

Officials say he was handcuffed in the front when he escaped.

Search dogs from the Angola tracking team had the inmate's scent, and he was captured just before 5:30 p.m.
