BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge area parents and counselors took a few hours out of their Saturday to learn what to look for when it comes to bullying.
Pennington Biomedical Center hosted the second annual I-care prevention summit.
Parents had a chance to listen to a number of speakers talk about everything from internet safety to suicide prevention.
"If we want to improve the lives of kids and change children's behavior, the best way to do that is to improve the way parents and professionals intervene and work with kids," said a seminar attendee. "So, these kinds of initiatives hopefully help us to better accomplish that."
Experts say it's all about making sure everyone knows how to approach these situations with children.
