EBRSO Narcotics Division announce two drug bust arrests

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office announced the results of multiple drug busts over the last week.

On June 17, Narcotics detectives along with SWAT units arrested Eddie Jones after finding cocaine, 138 Xanax pills, 43 ecstasy tabs, 216 grams of marijuana, an AR15 Rifle, and an SKS rifle from a Greenwell Springs Road residence.

Jones was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule I and IV drugs, as well as possession of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

On June 25, EBRSO Narcotics Detectives arrested Daveion Walls after detectives found guns, marijuana, crack cocaine, hydrocodone and oxycodone from an apartment on Balis Drive.

Walls was charged with possession with intent to distribute, as well as illegal carrying of a weapon with a controlled dangerous substance.
