BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A North Baton Rouge community is trying to find ways to bring back a community pool.
A meeting was held Thursday night to discuss the future of the Gus Young Pool.
The pool has been closed for three consecutive summers. It will remain closed as BREC says repairs are too expensive.
However, community leaders are discussing other options to find private money to replace it with another pool and to keep it open.
More meetings will be held on the issue.
