All lanes reopen on I-12 E btwn Walker, Satsuma

7:57 a.m. - Normal slowdowns seen on I-10 West near Essen Lane and I-12 West near Range Avenue. No major congestion reported.

7:02 a.m. - All lanes are now open on I-12 East between Walker and Satsuma following a crash involving an 18-wheeler that injured at least one person.

6:55 a.m. - Left lane reopens on I-12 East between Walker and Satsuma. It is still unknown when the interstate will be completely cleared.

6:45 a.m. - DOTD reports US 190 is now open in both directions between Walker and Satsuma. I-12 East remains blocked between Walker and Satsuma.

5:49 a.m. - Traffic is no longer being detoured onto US 190 to get around a crash on I-12 East near Walker because another crash has closed US 190 in both directions near LA 449.

5:07 a.m. - DOTD reports I-12 East remains closed at Mile Marker 17 (near Walker) due to a crash. Cars are being diverted to LA 447 North (South Walker Road), then to US 190 East, then to South Satsuma Road and then back onto I-12 East. Traffic is backed up about a mile.

4:55 a.m. - There are reports of injuries in the crash on I-12 East near Walker. Backups from the lane closures are also building.

4:30 a.m. - I-12 East is closed between Walker and Satsuma due to a crash involving an 18-wheeler. It is not yet known if there were any injuries as a result of the wreck. Drivers are urged to exit at Walker and use US 190 as an alternate route. Authorities have not given an estimated time for the lanes to reopen.
