BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Baton Rouge Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for using his father's identity to get a loan.
Police say they are looking for 29-year-old Gabadiah Jemar McClay of Plaquemine.
According to police, McClay gained access to his father's personal information in early February and used his identity without his knowledge or consent to acquire and auto loan totaling around $69,000.
McClay then also attempted to open two additional personal loans totaling around $22,000 but was denied after his application appeared suspicious.
Once arrested, McClay will be charged with forgery and identity theft.
