OMAHA, NE (WAFB) -
LSU will face the Cal State Fullerton Titans Tuesday at 2 p.m. in a College World Series elimination game.
Cal State Fullerton (39-24) gave up three runs in the 9th inning to the Vanderbilt Commodores, including a 2-run walk-off home run by Jeren Kendall, in a heartbreaking 4-3 defeat. The game was finished Monday afternoon after being postponed in the 6th inning Sunday due to weather.
The Tigers (53-11) will try to bounce back after a 10-3 loss to TCU on Sunday.
Alex Lange will take the mound for the Tigers. The freshman ace has an 11-0 record with a 1.89 ERA and 121 strike outs.
Fullerton will start Connor Seabold against LSU. The freshman right-hander is 5-3 with a 2.84 ERA.
