BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A building nicknamed the "Little Church with a Big Heart" celebrated its 99th anniversary on Sunday.
This weekend marks the anniversary of the Greater Antioch Baptist Church on Nebraska Street. The church is within walking distance from the LSU North Gates.
Members of the church came to the 9:00 a.m. service to hear about their church's history.
"Every year that the church is in existence, Satan is mad," says Pastor Levert Kemp.
The original church opened in 1916, but was burned down in 1920.
