LSU loses first CWS game to TCU, 10-3

OMAHA, NE (WAFB) - LSU loses to TCU 10-3 in the Tigers' first game of the 2015 College World Series. The game was delayed to 2:35 p.m. because of weather.

LSU advanced to the CWS after beating UL-Lafayette, 6-3, in the second game of the Baton Rouge Super Regional. The Tigers won Game 1 against UL-Lafayette Saturday after Chris Sciambra hit a walk-off home run to give LSU a 4-3 victory.

Bottom 2: LSU 0, TCU 0. LSU got the first hit of the ballgame, but couldn't bring in the runner from third.

Bottom 4: LSU 1, TCU 2. LSU takes a run back with a sacrifice RBI from Stevenson.

Top 5: LSU 1, TCU 6. The wheels fall off the wagon for LSU in the 6th, as they give up four more runs to TCU.

Bottom 5:  LSU 1, TCU 6. Two strikeouts and a pop-out end LSU's effort in the 5th.

Top 6: LSU 1, TCU 6. LSU gets out of the inning with no damage done despite a 1-out double from TCU's

Bottom 6: LSU 1, TCU 6. TCU puts the Tigers down in order to end the bottom of the 6th.

Top 7: LSU 1, TCU 10. TCU runs wild in the 7th, putting another 4 runs on the board.

Bottom 7: LSU 1, TCU 10. LSU can't put anything together in the 7th, as they go down in order again. 

Top 8: LSU 1, TCU 10.  TCU gets one on board, but grounds into a double play to end the inning.

Bottom 8: LSU 3, TCU 10. A solo home run from Foster brings TCU's lead down to 8. Then a single to right by Scivicque scores Fraley to make it a 7-run lead for TCU.

Top 9: LSU 3, TCU 10. LSU makes a double play to end the inning, TCU not adding anymore runs on the board.

Bottom 9: LSU 3, TCU 10. LSU struck out in order.
