BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge's new school superintendent is about to rework the central office.
"So over the next few weeks you're going to see a plan laid out to become more efficient and a new organizational change," said EBR Public School Superintendent Warren Drake. "We will move forward like the $500 million corporate business we are."
Drake spoke to Baton Rouge Rotary Wednesday, telling inspiring stories of points of excellence he's already found in the school system and how he's going to hand more power to school principals. He also put in their hands his plan for the first 100 days of his administration.
Drake says his upcoming school office reorganization will put more employees back in classrooms and streamline things.
