BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police said a Crime Stoppers tip led them to a repeat offender wanted for failing to show up for court.
Sgt. Don Stone with Crime Stoppers said Lester Desmoulin, 28, of Baton Rouge, was arrested at a hotel on Constitution Avenue on Thursday.
He was wanted for failure to show up for court on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics and theft of goods.
Investigators added he is listed in the Repeat Offender Prosecution and Enhancement (ROPES) program, which means he has been arrested at least six times on felony charges or has been convicted at least twice on felony charges.
