BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Coast Guard is searching for a missing crew member after a tugboat sank in the Mississippi River on Saturday.
Officials say the boat went down near Convent, Louisiana around 8 a.m.
Four people were rescued from the boat, but the fifth crew member remains missing. No names have been released, and the incident remains under investigation.
The Coast Guard suspended yesterday's search after they covered 85 miles over the course of 15 hours.
Crews resumed the search for the missing crew member resumed this morning.
