Deputies ask for help finding repeat offender who failed to show up for court

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a repeat offender who failed to show up for court on drug and theft charges.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said it is trying to find Lester Desmoulin, 28.

He is wanted for failure to show up for court on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics and theft of goods.

Desmoulin is 5'11” tall and weighs 163 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Investigators added he is listed in the Repeat Offender Prosecution and Enhancement (ROPES) program, which means he has been arrested at least six times on felony charges or has been convicted at least twice on felony charges.
