WANTED: Sheriff searching for armed vehicle burglars

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are looking for three men who were seen burglarizing vehicles in the 17100 block of Sharpsburg Ave. in Shenandoah on May 15, 2015 in the early morning hours.

According to reports, the suspects were driving two white four-door sedans (unknown make or model at this time) that they parked on Sharpsburg Avenue. The suspects then walked the street pulling on door handles of vehicles looking for those that were unlocked. 

Officials with EBRSO say the suspects entered the unlocked vehicles stealing various items. Home surveillance footage shows that at least two of the suspects were armed with handguns while committing the burglaries. At least six different unlocked vehicles were reported burglarized during this time period.

The suspects appear to be three black males wearing hooded sweatshirts, wearing gloves and carrying backpacks.
