Deputies are looking for the man who robbed a Target store in Baton Rouge on Wednesday.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office reported it happened at the Target on Siegen Lane around 10:45 p.m.

Casey Rayborn Hicks with EBRSO said deputies were told the suspect went to a worker who was collecting money from the registers, lifted his shirt and indicated he had a gun.

"Don't move," he reportedly told the employee. "Don't call anyone."

Hicks said the robber then got the keys to the register, took the money out of the cash drawer and ran out of the store. She added was seen leaving the scene in a silver four-door car, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.

The suspect is in his mid-20s, 5'11” to 6'2” and weighs between 180 and 220 pounds. He has a dark complexion and dreadlocks that are about shoulder length.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
