BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office SCAT, K-9 and Uniform Patrol deputies arrested a man Wednesday afternoon that ran from a traffic stop leaving behind an AK-47 and drugs in his vehicle.

Markus Morris, 26, will be charged with brake lights required, reckless operation of a vehicle, resisting an officer, possession of a firearm with controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
