BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who allegedly burglarized an Airline Highway gift shop in April.
Sheriff's Office Detectives responding to a burglary alarm at Mercy Mary Gift Shop, on 10449 Airline highway, noticed that the rear door of the nail salon next door to the gift shop had been forced open. Detectives believe that the burglar got into the gift shop by dropping through the gift shop's ceiling.
Detectives say that several "business documents" were reported stolen from the gift shop.
Officials describe the suspect as a black male with a slim build with a goatee. The suspect has tattoos on his neck, and he was last seen wearing long pants, light colored long sleeve shirts and a tight-knit cap.
Anyone with more information about this incident, or the identity of the burglar, is asked to call the ERBSO at 225-344-STOP.
