All lanes of I-10 West on 'New Bridge' reopen following stalled 18-wheeler

8:45 a.m. - All lanes are now open I-10 West on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge).

7:55 a.m. - The left lane is now blocked on I-10 West on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge) due to stalled 18-wheeler. Expect continued heavy delays.

7:41 a.m. - All lanes of I-10 West on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge) are reopened.

7:35 a.m. - The left and center lanes of I-10 West on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge) are reopened. There are still heavy backups due to the crash and lane closures.

7:05 a.m. - All lanes remain blocked I-10 West on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge). The congestion has reached Essen Lane on both I-10 and I-12 West.

6:36 a.m. - DOTD reports the congestion due to the crash on I-10 West at LA 1 has reached the I-10/I-12 Merge.

6:25 a.m. - Backups from crash on I-10 West on Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge) approaching College Drive.

6:00 a.m. - DOTD reports all lanes are blocked on I-10 West at LA 1 on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge) due to an accident. Cars are able to pass around it in the right lane (LA 1 exit lane). Heavy delays are building.

5:39 a.m. - Fog will be an issue for commuters in the Hammond area this morning. Visibility reported at three miles or less in areas of Tangipahoa Parish.

5:20 a.m. - The Plaquemine ferry is operating.
