The Baton Rouge Police Department have arrested a couple suspected of shooting at three people and injuring one of them during an altercation in the parking lot of a Dollar General Store last month.

Police say they received a call on April 17th just before 5 p.m. of a shooting at the Dollar General store in the 5400 block of Airline Highway.

Two victims at the scene say the incident began when they got into and argument with 22-year-old Junice Griffin and 21-year-old Oliver Robinson inside of the store. When they exited the store, Griffin pulled a gun from her purse and began to threaten the victims.

At this time the third victim attempted to cut through the parking lot and was forced to stop between the two groups arguing.

Griffin then gave the gun to Robinson who started shooting at all three of the victims. The third victim was shot in the arm and was taken to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other two victims escaped unharmed.

Griffin and Robinson were arrested Friday and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where they were both charged with attempted first degree murder.
