BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives arrested two and are looking for two more involved in a shootout that happened on April 25, 2015 in the 6000 block of Jones Creek at approximately 2:23 p.m.
Deputies say 22-year-old Christopher Jamal Bennett is wanted for six counts of principal to attempted 1st degree murder, six counts of principal to assault by drive-by-shooting, and two counts of principal to aggravated damage to property.
Dalvis Joshua Nixon, 20, is wanted for six counts of principal to attempted 1st degree murder, six counts of principal to assault by drive-by-shooting and two counts of principal to aggravated damage to property.
Deputies arrested 53-year-old Michael H. West. He was charged with four counts of attempted 1st degree murder, two counts of aggravated damage to property and illegal use of a weapon.
Deandre Krashon Nixon, 21, was arrested and charged with six counts of attempted first degree murder, six counts of assault by drive-by-shooting, two counts of aggravated damage of property, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and illegal use of a weapon. Both Deandre and Dalvis Nixon are brothers.
According to deputies, West parked his vehicle at the Firestone on Jones Creek and got out of the car. Bennett and both Nixons allegedly drove by on Jones Creek at which time Deandre Nixon and West exchanged gun fire.
