BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - People got an early look Thursday night at a brand new school with a name very familiar around Baton Rouge.
The Patriot Parent Faculty Club hosted a jambalaya dinner that included a sneak peek of what the new Lee Magnet High School will look like and information about the new magnet academic programs, including digital media and bioscience.
The school is currently being constructed on the site of the Original Lee High School. The new campus cost $54.4 million and is expected to be completed in January 2016. Classes are set to start in August 2016.
