NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) - The New Orleans Saints drafted Garrett Grayson with the 11th pick of the third round.
Grayson, a quarterback from Colorado State, is the 75th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.
The 6-foot-2, 213-pound QB was the starter for the Rams his last two seasons, throwing for 9,190 yards and 64 touchdowns. In 2014, he was first-team All-Mountain West and named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year.
During his last season with Colorado State, Grayson has several school records with 4,006 yards, 32 touchdowns and 64 percent pass completion.
By selecting Grayson, this is the first time the Saints have drafted a quarterback in rounds one through three since Archie Manning in 1971.
