Chicago, IL (WAFB) - Former Utah defensive end/linebacker Nate Orchard has been drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 19th pick of the 2nd round.
The Browns moved down from their 11th pick of the 2nd round, trading it with the Houston Texans.
Orchard played four years with the Utes, playing in 50 games with 36 starts. While at Utah, Orchard totaled 25 sacks, 38.5 tackles for loss and eight forced fumbles.
He was named to several All-American first and second teams, won the Ted Hendricks Award as the nation's top defensive end and the Morris Award winner as the Pac-12's best defensive lineman.
