BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is trying to identify a suspect accused of robbing a convenience station early Wednesday morning.

The suspect entered the Cracker Barrel at 4245 Nicholson Dr. with a handgun demanding money. He grabbed the money and fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle. The vehicle headed eastbound on East Boyd.

The robbery suspect is a bald, black man, about 50 years old and wearing a yellow colored, long sleeve shirt.

Police say the suspect might be responsible for other armed robberies in that area. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call BRPD's Armed Robbery Division at 389-3845.
