BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police have made an arrest in the case of a hit and run crash that sent a pregnant woman to the hospital.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Annie Collins, 37, was booked on a charge of attempted second-degree murder. Her bond was set at $100,000.
The incident happened on Geronimo Street in Baton Rouge on April 1 around 10:45 p.m.
The pregnant woman was rushed to the hospital with moderate injuries. Police said the victim was released from the hospital the next day and added the baby was fine.
Witnesses said she was run over three times after an argument. Police said the incident was "domestic." One witness said the victim was in an argument with the suspect over a man.
