BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Construction has started on a bridge in Baton Rouge, and officials say it will take up to 5 to 6 months to finish.
Crews will be replacing the bridge on Badley Road as part of Mayor Holden's $7.6 million Green Light Plan. Workers are also adding sidewalks and gutters to the street.
Traffic will be detoured to Harding Blvd as Badley Street will be closed off from between Elm Grove Garden Drive and Wilbur Street.
Officials say the project should be done by December.
