BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A Baton Rouge chef and restaurant owner is looking to open another restaurant in the capitol city.
Chef Chris Wadsworth, is looking to open Goûter Restaurant Bar and Grill at the old Private Stock store on Government Street. The Baton Rouge Business Report says that the new restaurant will measure 2,200 square feet, which would hold about 60 people.
While Wadsworth and his wife will be busy with this new restaurant, the duo spoke to the publication 225 Dine, saying that their culinary training center for at risk youths, known as Triumph Kitchen, will not be going anywhere.
"[My wife and I] have been focused on Triumph Kitchen for the last two years, and it's not going anywhere," says Wadsworth, noting that Triumph Kitchen's fifth class will be held in May.
Wadsworth says that he is satisfied with the experience he gained from working in Triumph Kitchen, and that he's excited to get back into the restaurant business.
