BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The LSU Spring Football Game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday in Tiger Stadium.
Fans will be watching closely to see if there's any noticeable improvement in quarterbacks Anthony Jennings and Brandon Harris since the Tigers season ended roughly three months ago.
LSU appears to be pretty strong in most areas for 2015, but once again that "most important position on the field" thing is a huge question mark again.
"It's not just work out wise. I've spent more time in the film room," said Harris, a sophomore. "Studying, just watching myself. You can't watch yourself enough and the plays you did take this past season and seeing how you can improve."
"I have to be more accurate. I have to be smarter in deciphering defenses," said Jennings, a junior. "And I've been in the film room studying this whole off-season, and I have to be better in every aspect of my game to make this offense go."
"Run the team. Use the tools at hand. Let it run the offense. Let it work. Take care of the ball. Move it aggressively. Those kind of things," said head coach Les Miles when asked what he's looking for from returning quarterbacks in the workout.
Don't forget about the "Geaux Teal Walk" at LSU Tiger Park to fight ovarian cancer at 10 a.m. Registration starts at 9 a.m.
LSU will do the "Big Cat Drill" shortly before the game begins.
Saturday starts with a free concert at 11 a.m. and concludes with a postgame awards ceremony.
