BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Funeral arrangements have been set for soul singer Percy Sledge, who passed away Tuesday.
Visitation will be Tuesday at Bethany Church in Baker from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow.
The Alabama native spent most of his career and life in Baton Rouge. Sledge was 74.
His famous ballad "When a Man Loves a Woman" made him an icon.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
