BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office and BRAVE will hold a picnic on Saturday, April 25 to raise awareness during National Crime Victims' Rights Week.
The picnic will be held from Noon to 3 p.m. at the BREC Howell Park on 5511 Winbourne Avenue. Organizers want to shed light on the rights that crime victims and survivors of violence have.
The festival will offer free food, entertainment, information, and giveaways.
"Engaging Communities, Empowering Victims" is this year's theme, and organizers say that it presents a perfect opportunity to commit to survivors and victims of crime and violence.
