BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The radar remained clear of rain Friday morning, but don't be deceived because there are rain chances ahead for the afternoon and throughout the weekend.
The rain and severe weather associated with a frontal boundary did not reach the Baton Rouge area to cause any problems for the morning commute.
However, the showers expected to move into the area could put a damper on some of your Friday evening and weekend plans, as there will be lots happening for music lovers and festival goers.
There is an 80 percent chance of rain for Friday, a 50 percent chance on Saturday and a 60 percent chance Sunday.
The rain is likely to be in the area by noon Friday and is expected to last through the evening.
It is not expected to rain constantly, but the showers could cause problems for some events.
