BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A new clock adorns North Blvd in downtown Baton Rouge near Town Square after being dedicated Thursday.
The Baton Rouge Bar Foundation donated the clock to the city to honor the organization's history in Capitol area.
The 17-foot time piece is right in front of the 19th District Court House.
"It's been a long time dream of the Bar Association and Foundation to give something back to the citizens of Baton Rouge and thank the whole community for making this such a wonderful community to practice to practice law in," said Mathile Abramson with the BR Bar Association.
The Bar Association has been a part of Baton Rouge for more than 85 years. They provide free legal services to the poor as well as pro bono help and education to students.
