DALLAS, TX (WAFB) - Another one of the country's largest retailers has pulled all Blue Bell products from their shelves.
Sam's Club has announced that they will pull Blue Bell Ice Cream from its store shelves as a precautionary measure.
The decision comes after Blue Bell announced Friday that they will be closing their production plant in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Blue Bell spokesman Gene Grabowski confirmed that Sam's Club was joining H-E-B in stopping sales if the product.
The company based in Brenham, Texas issued a recall last month after it was found that ice cream contaminated with listeriosis was linked to the deaths of 3 people at a Kansas hospital.
