NAPOLEONVILLE, LA (WAFB) - A group of friends from Napoleonville used a Louisiana staple to bring the community together.
They set up a community crawfish boil on Friday to draw people together for a Good Friday celebration.
The event included plenty of mudbugs, a water slide and a spacewalk for the kids.
"Me and my homeboys came together," says boil organizers, "we put a little money up to support the kids. You know? To try to keep the crime rate down because it's kind of high right now. It all starts with the kids."
