Baton Rouge Salvation Army to host a community Easter egg hunt

The Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge will be hosting its Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5th. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place at The Salvation Army Community Center off 4025 W. Brookstown Dr. at 10:30 a.m. There will be several thousand eggs and special prizes available for the children.

Community Easter Egg Hunt in Baton Rouge

SE Mackey Center and Full Gospel UPC will host a free family-friendly Easter Egg Hunt at the SE Mackey Center located at 6534 Ford Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70811 on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Activities will take place at 12 a.m.

All children are invited to join and are encouraged to bring their baskets to the Easter Egg Hunt. 15,000 eggs will be filled with candy and prizes. Family-fun games and sacks will be available.

Scotlandville Community Easter Parade set to roll April 4th

Klassy Styles, LLC marches around the Scotlandville community for its 6th year for the annual Easter Parade at 12 noon Saturday, April 4.

The parade route begins and ends at Rosenwald Rd./Elm Grove Garden Drive, left on Scenic Hwy., left on Curtis St., left on Somerset, left on Fairchild, right Scotland Ave. The parade will feature local elected officials, marching bands and hundreds of local community members.

Following the parade, Easter baskets will be given away at the Alexis Hall Parking Lot located at 6890 Plank Road.

Journey Church is hosting The Great Egg Hunt in 2 locations, Central and Denham Springs

Lovett Road Park in Central and South Park in Denham Springs. The event is April 4th form 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. There is food, pony rides, inflatables, a rock wall, and 100,000 candy filled Easter eggs.

Chapel in the Oaks – Easter Egg Hunt

April 4, 10am-12pm

Introduce your neighbors to the life-changing message of Easter in a fun-filled day for families of younger children. There will be games, crafts, hot dogs, egg hunt and a black light gospel presentation. Everyone is welcome. Egg hunt is for children through 5th grade. Bring a basket for each child.

Mackey Center and Full Gospel UPC – Easter Egg Hunt

April 4, 12 p.m.-2 p.m.

SE Mackey Center and Full Gospel UPC will host a free family-friendly Easter Egg Hunt at the SE Mackey Center. Activities will take place at 12 a.m. and all children are invited to join in the fun with games, snacks, and hunt for 15,000 eggs!

Hemingbough Sunrise Easter Service

April 5, 7 a.m. 

This is a non-denominational Easter Service, open to the public. Complimentary coffee, juice and biscuits are served for the many visitors.

Resthaven Gardens of Memory Easter Sunrise Service

April 5, 2015 @ 7:00 am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Services and words of prayer will be led by Rev. Merlin Liverman, Associate Pastor of 55+ Ministry, Parkview Baptist Church.
